The real estate market in the Eastwood Schools area is weak due to the current shortage of inventory.
The numbers give us no sense of direction, however, countywide, the numbers reflect the national picture - low inventories, quicker sales, but reduced number of sales due to lack of homes available - and home prices holding steady but perhaps starting to level off.
2022 should bring some relief for home buyers. Interest rates are projected to continue the rise that started near the end of the year for mortgages. A somewhat questionable economy and national temperament may also have some influence.
The housing market for 2022 is expected to be good, but not crazy good like we've been experiencing.
As always, some homes take longer to sell than others but that can be accounted for by either too aggressive pricing, a poorly prepared home, or a weak marketing effort by the agent. There are plenty of buyers waiting for homes, it's the agents job to get their listings in front of the right buyers. If I can be of any help, please contact me at 419-779-6229.
